As part of the explorations for the FLUX project, we visited the new water catchment basin in our neighbourhood together with Futurefarmers, who are artistically exploring and engaging with the river space as part of an artist-residency.

The catchment basin St. Anton at the Talfer was renovated and potentiated between 2016 and 2019 and is a showcase project for environmentally conscious, sustainable use of renewable energy sources throughout Europe. Probably for the first time, a large underground reservoir has been realised as a balancing basin for regulating the Talfer, thus significantly improving the quality of life of aquatic life as well as the safety of recreational uses of the river basin.
