IMAGINED Food Retrospections Across Geographies
Lecture performativa e cena dell’artista Leone Contini
Where Lungomare, Bolzano-Bozen
Time 7 pm
Upcoming
As part of the European project B-Shapes – Borders Shaping Perceptions of European Societies, the B-Shapes Summer School on Borders and Europe organized by Eurac Research in collaboration with Lungomare anticipates, in Bolzano, the third episode of the exhibition Through the Prism of Borders, scheduled for autumn 2025.
Within this framework, artist Leone Contini presents the Performative Lecture and Dinner IMAGINED – Food Retrospections Across Geographies, taking place at Lungomare on May 13th starting at 6:00 PM.
When food is actively imagined, it becomes a powerful catalyst for shaping family and community identities—threads that can reweave connections across distant geographies.
The performative lecture IMAGINED Food Retrospections Across Geographies draws from a constellation of projects that Leone Contini has developed over the years—beginning in his own neighborhood between Prato and Florence, and reaching outward toward an “elsewhere” that is never truly far away.
