COSMO Edition N°3

We are very happy to announce the launch of the third edition of COSMO, a project born in 2018 from the need to find an answer to the question of how refugees can become a more active and cohesive part of a collective society. COSMO has produced two editions of objects over the years with designers and artisans fleeing their home countries.

Edition N°3, entitled BEADS, is an encounter of the passions of Kira Kessler, designer and artist specialising in creating inventive and avant-garde textiles, and Hazra Begum, craftswoman originally from Bangladesh with a passion for embroidering, sewing and threading beads. The patterns of the bags are designed and composed by Kira and were professionally realised by Hazra.

BEADS will be presented on Friday 01.12.2023 at 17.00 at Lungomare on the occasion of LUMO, the Christmas Design Market taking place over the weekend from 01.12. to 03.12.2023.

You are all warmly invited to the launch of BEADS! It will be a nice opportunity to see us all together and celebrate the upcoming Christmas days!
