Anno dei Musei dell’Euregio – Euregio-Museumsjahr 2025
Guardare oltre, Weiter sehen
The Euregio Museum Year is an initiative by the EGTC EUREGIO Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino, aimed at promoting cooperation among museums across the three Euregio regions through a transnational exhibition project. The 2025 edition, titled Guardare oltre/Weiter sehen, was launched in March 2025 in Brixen/Bressanone, and draws inspiration from Michael Gaismair and the 1525 Peasants’ Revolt, encouraging reflection on justice and social equity, crisis management and any forms of resistance. As in the 2021 edition, Lungomare was responsible for the concept and coordination of the communication campaign, designing the visual identity, slogan, and all related digital and print communication materials.
For the 2025 edition, an emphasis was placed on digital formats. In collaboration with the external partners Mercurio Coop and Taktfilm, a podcast and a series of short videos were created to reveal untold details behind the participating museums and exhibitions.
Slogan and Visual Identity 2025
Starting from the topic of this edition, Lungomare developed the slogan Guardare oltre/Weiter sehen, paired with the symbol of eyes. This concept reflects the idea of multiple perspectives observing the present, past, and future. It’s an invitation to embrace different viewpoints, foster mutual understanding, and imagine a future full of possibilities.
This multiplicity of gazes is at the center of the visual identity: the eyes open and close, sometimes appearing alone, other times forming constellations. Complementing these illustrated elements is a color palette that builds upon the Euregio’s official colours, enriched by a vibrant cyan, chosen to reinforce the message of openness, vitality, and renewal.
The slogan is used in combination with the official Euregio Museum Year logo, originally designed for the 2021 edition. Both the logo and other graphic elements are included in toolkits designed for digital and print communication. These were distributed to all participating museums to ensure consistent and coordinated communication at both regional and transnational levels.
The printed materials include a brochure with the full annual programme, bookmarks, stickers, and pins available for each museum, along with banners and signage for public spaces and official events.
Sito web
The 2025 edition website was designed as a platform to collect and present all projects and to inform visitors about the museums involved and their initiatives. Through the Map and Projects sections, users can explore the wide range of informations regarding museums and their exhibitions. The events calendar, available in compact version on the homepage and in full in a dedicated section, allows users to view both upcoming and past events. Each museum was given access to a private area of the site, where they could upload their own events and activities independently. A cyan pop-up banner gives visitors access to specially created podcast and video content.
Digital Communication Strategy
Two main digital formats were developed: the podcast Storie dai musei / Geschichten aus den Museen and the video series Oggetto influencer/Influencer Objekt, both produced in collaboration with the participating museums. These contents were shared on major streaming platforms, giving museums a chance to present themselves and share unique behind-the-scenes insights. All content was also published on a dedicated Instagram channel, which collected each new release.
The podcast takes listeners on a journey through stories of power, resistance, and the fight for justice. Through unheard details and the voices of those behind the scenes, it explores the museum projects featured in the initiative.
The video series tells the stories of the participating museums through a specific object from each collection. These objects become the main character of each short video, sparking curiosity and engagement. In addition to this series, promotional videos were produced, including a teaser and thematic videos.
