Alpine Changemaker

Visual Identity of the Network

The Alpine Changemaker Network is shaped by art and socio-cultural organisations from across the Alpine region. Members develop methodologies, revive traditional knowledge and explore alternative economies. They also create spaces and infrastructures that serve as testing grounds for living and working in times of crisis. Besides friendship, the member organisations share an interest in the complexities of social, political, economic and ecological issues, as well as a love of experimentation. Lungomare is part of the network, creates Prototypes, organises Assemblies and created the visual identity. The network is made up of unique organisations with different skills and knowledge.

Visual Identity

The idea behind the identity is a flexible system that gives each organisation space but still connects them to one another. The visual language is created using the “ACN-font”, a font made of analogue methods with water, leaving a human trace in digital applications. The imperfect letters add a playful dynamic and movement, as the Network changes constantly itself. To emphasise the idea of movement, the font consists of two styles: ‘calm’ and ‘breeze’. The organisations can start experimenting and playing with the visuals, creating their own versions of the Design.

The ACN-font includes Letters of all the organisations languages, as slowenian, italian, german and english. The font is complemented by an icon-library, those relate to the mountains, nature or organisation’s interests. The font forms the identity and the Logo, which exists in the ‘calm’ and ‘breeze’ style. The identity consists only of one color, a very bright Cyan, to keep the identity simple and easy to use.
